PARIS, May 19, 2016
Roland-Garros tournament organisers took the decision to revoke Constant Lestienne’s wildcard. The young French player was selected last week to receive a wildcard based on his strong performances over the past few months.
Constant Lestienne is under investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU) for what the FFT understands is a minor breach of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program. (TACP)
While the investigative process is ongoing, and although Constant Lestienne is allowed to continue playing, the FFT took the decision to revoke his invitation to the main draw to underline the zero-tolerance approach by tennis’s governing bodies to unethical sports conduct.
