At the meeting held on Thursday morning in Barcelona, ​​the members of the Board unanimously agreed to a change in the direction of the professional teams, highlighting “the great work of Conchita Martínez in these years at the head of the teams“.

The Board also expressed its gratitude to the former World No. 2. “In the years as captain of the Federation Cup and Davis Cup team she has done a great job. We have decided to make a change in order to face new challenges in 2018 with our teams. “

In the coming days the RFET Board will announce the new leaders of the Spanish Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams.
