Adam Pavlasek has captured his first ATP Challenger title, winning the final in Poprad Tatry 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 against Hans Podlipnik-Castillo.

The 20-year-old Czech won 69% of his first service points and capitalized on four of his 14 break opportunities to seal victory in two hours and 11 minutes.

Pavlasek was understandably happy after winning € 6,150 in prize money as well as 90 ATP ranking points: “Thank you for your support. Podlipnik-Castillo played really well, but I am glad that I won this tournament.”

The 27-year-old Chilean said: ”Thank you for this very nice tournament. Congratulations to Adam, he really deserves it. I am looking forward to it next year.”
