Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Bernabé Zapata Miralles advanced to the men’s singles final of the inaugural Máster Futuro Nacional MAPFRE held at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Manacor, Mallorca.

Davidovich edged out top seed and World No. 81 Jaume Munar 4-2, 4-2, 1-4, 4-2 on Friday afternoon.

“I am very pleased to reach the final here,” Davidovich said. “It was a very difficult match and conditions were not easy due to the wind. I have won two matches now. Let’s see what will happen tomorrow.”

Later in the day, Zapata Miralles defeated Carlos Taberner 4-3(0), 4-3(8), 4-0.

Eva Guerrero and Aliona Bolsova will compete in the women’s final.
