TA Press Release, April 4, 2019

Highly regarded digital specialist Finn Bradshaw will join Tennis Australia in the new role of Head of Digital Strategy for the Australian Open.

“I’m delighted to welcome Finn Bradshaw to the team and look forward to his contribution across the organisation as we continue our digital transformation,” Chief Revenue Officer Richard Heaselgrave said.

“With the fan base for tennis and our suite of events continuing to expand globally, Finn’s experience in changing the way fans consume sport online will be invaluable, particularly in terms of further realising the potential of our marquee event, the Australian Open.

“Finn’s background in bringing sport to life through digital experiences spans nearly 20 years, and he’s been at the forefront of the commercialisation of digital technology in his roles with News Limited, AFL and Cricket Australia.

“In this new role Finn will be responsible for all Tennis Australia’s digital and technology products associated with the promotion, experiences and operation of all our events, including the Australian Open, and for engaging and energising fans in Australia and internationally. He will also develop new revenue streams for digital businesses and products,” Heaselgrave continued.

“The opportunity to work on an event such as the Australian Open doesn’t come along often, and the opportunity to join the Tennis Australia team on their innovative and ambitious journey was too good to pass up,” Finn Bradshaw said.

“I look forward to creating world-class digital experiences befitting the event’s iconic status. On a personal note, I’d like to thank Cricket Australia for its consistent support of our digital strategy over the past five years.”

Finn Bradshaw will commence in the role at the end of April.
