TC Rot-Weiss Troisdorf To Host Inaugural TVM Open

TROISDORF, April 26, 2019

With the inaugural TVM Open a new tennis tournament will be held in Germany this year. The TC Rot-Weiss Troisdorf will host the ITF World Tennis Tour M15 event from 6 to 12 May 2019. Tournament director will be Marc Raffel, who is also responsible for the ATP Challenger in Meerbusch.

The entry list is led by Marvin Netuschil, currently ranked World No. 430 in the ATP-Rankings. The 27-year-old Hamm native is seeking his 10th singles title on the ITF Pro Circuit.

Colin Sinclair, representing the Northern Mariana Islands, Lucas Gerch from Germany and Thomas Fancutt of Australia will also come to Troisdorf, a town with a population of about 75,000 inhabitants in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis (district), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The tournament with a total prize money of $15,000 will be part of the German Masters Series. The singles champion will earn $2,160 in prize money as well as 100 ITF Ranking points.
