US-Tennis Stars Join Forces With USTA And GoNoodle To Promote Net Generation

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) today announced that they have expanded their partnership with GoNoodle by joining forces with tennis superstars, Sloane Stephens, Madison Keys, and Mike and Bob Bryan to promote USTA’s Net Generation through a series of GoNoodle videos set to launch throughout the year. During the 2019-2020 school year, Net Generation and GoNoodle will be encouraging students to stay active and motivated with their latest video “I Can Do That” featuring 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens. The video has already reached 3.7 million students since its debut at the 2019 Arthur Ashe Kids Day powered by Net Generation.

“We are thrilled to welcome this team of iconic players to our Net Generation family,” said Craig Morris, USTA’s Chief Executive of Community Tennis. “Sloane, Madison, and Mike and Bob Bryan are role models to many young kids, and I’m confident that together, we will inspire the next generation of tennis players.”

The objective of Net Generation is to provide a kid-friendly, fun and safe connection to the sport. The Net Generation GoNoodle videos and songs will help get kids moving and inspired to hit the court while also providing opportunities to develop skills that will help them throughout their lives.

Sloane was joined by Arnstar from the group Blazer Fresh for the debut of her GoNoodle song, “I Can Do That” during the 2019 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day powered by Net Generation. The song and video features the tennis star encouraging kids to have confidence and be the best version of themselves.

“I had so many role models I looked up to when I was growing up learning tennis,” said Sloane Stephens. “It means so much to me to be able to have a positive impact on kids’ lives by encouraging them to always try their best and believe in themselves.”

The 2019 Western & Southern Open champion, Madison Keys, will be adding some fun to classrooms and living rooms with the “Fast Feet with Madison Keys” video. The video features Madison demonstrating and performing a series of tennis-inspired drills to motivate kids to get up and move.

“The Net Generation GoNoodle videos are a fun and easy way for kids to learn basic tennis movements and most importantly to stay active and have fun,” said Madison Keys. “I’m thrilled to be part of Net Generation and help kids get into this great sport that has given me so many opportunities.”

Bob and Mike Bryan will be featured in, “Teamwork,”  in which they teach kids how to be part of a dream team by performing a series of partnership exercises to help kids learn to work together, and trust and respect each other.

“Throughout our tennis careers we’ve learned skills that have helped us succeed on and off the court including teamwork and communication,” said the Bryan brothers. “We look forward to spreading this message through our Net Generation GoNoodle video and inspire the next generation of greats.”

GoNoodle engages 14 million kids every month with movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts. The videos are created to encourage kids to stay active and are available for free at school, home, and everywhere kids are.
