The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has today announced the Draw for the Davis Cup by Rakuten Qualifiers 2020, to be held on 6-7 March.
The 12 home-and-away ties will consist of four singles matches and one doubles match with all matches played over the best-of-three tiebreak sets. Two singles matches will be played on Friday 6 March, with the doubles match followed by two reverse singles matches on Saturday 7 March.
The 12 winning nations in the Qualifiers will compete in the Davis Cup by Rakuten Madrid Finals 2020. They will join this year’s four semi-finalists – Canada, Great Britain, Russia and Spain – and the two wild card nations – France and Serbia – in the Finals on 23-29 November 2020.
The 12 losing nations will compete in World Group I ties in September 2020.
