Australian Open 2020 Play-Off Finals Set

The finals are set for the Australian Open 2020 Wildcard Play-off with Arina Rodionova and Storm Sanders winning their respective semifinals today. They join Max Purcell and John-Patrick Smith progressing through to finals which will be hosted from 11.00 am tomorrow, Sunday 15 December at Melbourne Park. The winners will receive a coveted Australian Open 2020 wildcard into the singles main draw.

Tomorrow also concludes the 2019 December Showdown presented by Kia, with the 16/u and 12/u Australian Championships finals being hosted from 9.00 am.

The 16/u Championship finals will see Talia Gibson (WA) vs. Lauren Nikoloski (WA) and James McCabe (NSW) vs. Philip Sekulic (Qld) battle it out with the winners receiving an Australian Open junior wildcard, whilst the 12/u Championships will see Gabrielle Villegas (Vic) vs. Alana Subasic (NSW) and Heremana Courte (CAL) vs. Jin Furuta (JPN) competing for the junior titles.
