MUNICH, June 19, 2020
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and following the measures imposed by the ATP, organizers of the BMW Open by FWU announced on Wednesday the postponement of this year’s ATP 250 clay-court event in Munich. The tournament, which was scheduled to take place from April 25 to May 3, 2020, will now be held on April 24 to May 2, 2021.
“Unfortunately, at the end of the day we couldn’t agree with the ATP to host the BMW Open by FWU as we, as the organizer, would have imagined together with the MTTC Iphitos, our partners and everyone involved,” Christian Okon, managing director of the organizer MMP Event GmbH, stated in a press release.
Purchased tickets are still valid for the new dates, but refunds are also available. For more information, please visit the tournament’s official homepage.
