STUTTGART, June 3, 2022
Stefanos Tsitsipas will compete at this year’s BOSS Open in Stuttgart. The World No. 4 from Greece has been awarded a wild card into the main draw of the ATP 250 grass-court tournament. This was announced by the organizers on Friday. Tsitsipas will make his debut at the Tennis Club Weissenhof.
Jan-Lennard Struff received another wild card to join fellow Germans Daniel Altmaier and Oscar Otte in the field.
“Stefanos Tsitsipas’ participation in the BOSS OPEN is another big upgrade for our tournament. We are very happy that, like Andy Murray, he will play in Stuttgart for the first time this year. Jan-Lennard Struff proved that he can show strong performances at the Weissenhof tournament in 2019 by reaching the semi-finals,” tournament director Edwin Weindorfer explained.
The 2022 BOSS Open will be held from June 4 to 12.
