Dominic Thiem is scheduled to compete in the 16th edition of the Open Blot Rennes. This was announced by the organizers of the ATP Challenger Tour 90 tournament on Friday.
The top indoor hard-court event offers a total prize money of €67,960 and will be held from September 12 to 18 at Le Liberté in Rennes, France. World No. 211 Thiem will play in Rennes for the third time after 2012 and 2013.

The field in Brittany is led by two Frenchmen: World No. 72 Hugo Gaston and 91st-ranked veteran Richard Gasquet. Peter Gojowczyk of Germany and home favourite Hugo Grenier round out the top four players. Benjamin Bonzi of France captured the title last year beating Germany’s Mats Moraing in the championship match.
