The Open Blot Rennes 2024 is set to take place from September 9 to 15 at the Liberté in Rennes, France. This 18th edition of the ATP Challenger Tour tournament has already announced a strong lineup. French tennis stars Richard Gasquet, Lucas Pouille, and Pierre-Hugues Herbert are some of the key names returning to the court, bringing their experience and fan-favorite status to the competition.

Benjamin Bonzi, the 2021 champion, is also back, aiming to reclaim the title after an unfortunate injury in last year’s final. Alongside him, Benoit Paire, known for his entertaining matches, will also be competing. The initial player list includes Elias Ymer of Sweden, Aziz Dougaz from Tunisia as well as US-Americans Martin Damm and Ethan Quinn.

With three wild cards, two special exempts, and six qualifier spots still to be filled, the final lineup promises to be even more competitive. Tournament directors Nicolas Mahut and Matthieu Blesteau highlighted the event’s significance, noting the tournament’s growing reputation as a premier ATP Challenger Tour event, strategically placed between the US Open and the Asian tennis tour. The anticipation is high, and the final player list is eagerly awaited by fans and participants alike.
