In the course of the Rafael Nadal Academy, four young talents expect to see their idol in the middle of a casting but all they get is a man who cannot play tennis. The Spanish telecommunication company Telefónica’s sets up an entertaining TV spot with the 14-time Grand Slam champion.
The Rafael Nadal Academy, which is “powered by Movistar”, a Spanish mobile phone operator owned by Telefónica, has opened its doors in Nadal’s home town of Manacor in June 2016. The Academy’s team is comprised of a group of experienced coaches, directed by Toni Nadal as well as other professionals that have accompanied the former world number one during his sporting career.
