VIENNA, October 29, 2016
In the course of the Erste Bank Open 500 Swiss high range manufacturer of watches, Rado, held its annual promotion day at the Stadthalle in Vienna. In the run-up to the event, a few Rado watch wearers could win free tickets for the ATP 500 tournament.
On Friday, the brand welcomed former world number one Thomas Muster as well as current tennis stars inside the Rado VIP-Lounge. One of them was #NextGen star Karen Khachanov.
The Russian talent rose nearly 300 places in the ATP rankings in October 2013 after reaching the quarterfinals at the Kremlin Cup by Bank of Russia. The ATP event in Vienna has been sponsored by Rado since 2012, and in its role as Official Timekeeper the brand was in the ideal position to observe Karen’s impressive performance. Karen Khachanov’s rise has continued ever since, with the Moscow native achieving a career high ranking of 55 in the fall of 2016.
