Hampel Receives Kitzbühel Qualifying Wild Card

KITZBÜHEL, July 25, 2017

Organizers of the Generali Open in Kitzbühel announced Tuesday, that Austrian youngster Lenny Hampel will receive a wild card into the qualifying of the ATP 250 event, held from 29 July to 5 August.

The 20-year-old right hander is currently ranked on a career high World No. 371 and captured his first two titles on the ITF Pro Circuit, lifting the trophies in Heraklion and Telfs earlier this season.

Competition for Hampel will be tough, as six Top 100 players are expected to compete in the qualifying. There will be free admission for spectators during the first two days of the clay court tournament.
