The line-up for the intermediate stage of the Tannenhof Resort German Men’s Series is set. Cedrik-Marcel Stebe, Nino Ehrenschneider, Daniel Altmaier and Maximilian Marterer are the names of the qualifiers at the TVM Open in Troisdorf. Stebe, currently ranked World No. 133, remained unbeaten during the round-robin format.
In the match of the day in Group 5 Altmaier showed some decent tennis to earn a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Marterer on Saturday afternoon. “I am very happy with my performance, as I was just focused on my tennis. It worked out well,” Altmaier told organizer Marc Raffel after the his win.
Meanwhile in Überlingen, Peter Torebko and Louis Weßels came out on top of Group 6. In Group 2, Johannes Haerteis and Christoph Negritu advanced to the next round. The final places in the opening round will be determined in Sunday’s play-off matches.
