Alcaraz returns to action in Beijing

Thiem, Wawrinka compete in Astana Open
In addition to the star-studded ATP 500 event, which takes place for the first time since 2019, there is also action at the Astana Open. Home favourite Alexander Bublik joins Swiss veteran Stan Wawrinka and Dominic Thiem of Austria in the field at the ATP 250 event. The two Grand Slam champions could square off in the second round, which would mark their first meeting since 2017 in Indian Wells when both were Top 10 players.
After claiming the first two titles of his career this season in Pune, India and on home soil in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tallon Griekspoor hopes to continue his breakout season in the capital city of Kazakhstan. The 27-year-old Dutch enters the hard-court tournament as the top seed, at a career-high World No. 24.
