The Argentine duo Maria Lourdes Carle and Julia Riera of Argentina are the doubles champions of the third edition of the Montevideo Open, having won Saturday’s final of the WTA 125 clay-court tournament against Freya Christie from Great Britain and Yuliana Lizarazo of Colombia 7-6(5), 7-5 in one hour and 45 minutes.

The singles final will take place on Sunday at 5 pm local time on the Cancha Central of the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club between Diane Parry of France and Mexican Renata Zarazua.
