Gastao Elias and Horacio Zeballos will compete in Sunday’s title match of the €42,500 XIV Venice Challenger Save Cup.

The fourth seed from Portugal knocked out the tournament’s number one Paolo Lorenzi 5-7, 6-2, 6-2. Elias won 76% of his first service points and converted four of his seven break point chances to advance in two hours and seven minutes.

Zeballos dismissed Joris de Loore with a 6-3, 6-3 victory. The 31-year-old Argentine fired six aces, saved the only break point he faced and capitalized on three of his own to finish the encounter after one hour and 19 minutes.
