Bob Bryan, Kathy Rinaldi, Jon Rydberg And John Devorss To Coach 2024 U.S. Olympic And Paralympic Tennis Teams

The USTA is proud to announce its Olympic and Paralympic coaches for the upcoming Summer Games in Paris. Olympic doubles gold medalist and Davis Cup captain Bob Bryan and USTA Head of Women’s Tennis and former Billie Jean King Cup captain Kathy Rinaldi will be leading the men’s and women’s teams, respectively. Four-time Paralympian Jon Rydberg and World Team Cup coach John Devorss will lead the Paralympic men, women, and quad teams.

The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to Aug. 11 and the Paralympic Games will take place from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8. The tennis events will take place at Roland Garros, home of the French Open.

The USTA will formally announce the athletes for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic tennis teams later this summer.

Bryan is making his debut as an Olympic coach. He was a two-time medalist as a player with his brother, Mike, earning bronze in Beijing in 2008 and gold in London in 2012.

Rinaldi is coaching her second Olympics, after leading Team USA at the Tokyo Games in 2021. She spent seven years as the U.S. Billie Jean King Cup captain, leading the U.S. to its most recent title in 2017.

Both Jon Rydberg and John Devorss are making their debuts as Paralympic coaches. Rydberg is a four-time Paralympian, while Devorss is the longtime U.S. World Team Cup coach. Both coached the U.S. teams at the 2023 Parapan American Games.
