Ritschard Reigns At Salzburg Open

Alexander Ritschard has clinched the title of the Sparkasse Salzburg Open. The No. 8 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 125 clay-court event the defeated Frenchman Kyrian Jacquet 6-4, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.

Ritschard sent down three aces and won 81 per cent of his first-service points to prevail after one hour and 13 minutes.

The 30-year-old Swiss lifted his third ATP Challenger career trophy, his second of the season following his triumph in Savannah, Georgia in late April.

Ritschard earned €20,300 in prize money as well as 125 ATP Ranking points.
