Duje Ajdukovic has claimed the title of the Rafa Nadal Open by Movistar. The No. 5 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 hard-court tournament in Manacor, Spain outlasted Matteo Gigante of Italy 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in Sunday’s singles final.
In front of packed stands including Rafael Nadal on the balcony of the Rafa Nadal Academy, Ajdukovic struck 11 aces and won 77 per cent of his first-service points. The World No. 134 capitalized on three of his seven break-point opportunities to secure victory in two hours and 23 minutes.

By lifting his third ATP Challenger Tour career trophy, his first of the season, Ajdukovic collected €10,200 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
The sixth edition of the Rafa Nadal Open was hosted by the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor, Mallorca. The world-class tennis training facility was founded by tennis legend Rafael Nadal. Opened in 2016, the academy combines high-performance tennis training with quality education for young athletes. The state-of-the-art complex features 26 tennis courts, both clay and hard, indoor and outdoor, as well as a fitness center, swimming pool, and a sports residence.
