Brazilian teenager Stephan Noale claimed his first title of the season on Saturday by winning the Sao Paulo International Junior Series/Copa Juninho Tennis, an ITF World Tennis Tour J60 tournament held on the clay courts of Corinthians in Sao Paulo.

As the top seed, Noale lived up to expectations, defeating Vicente Freda in the final 6-3, 6-1 to secure his first title of the year and his second ITF World Tennis Tour Junior title, having previously won the J100 in Salvador last year.

In doubles, Noale and his partner Enzo Vargas finished as runners-up after being defeated by Livas Damazio and Felipe Moretti, 6-3, 6-2.

“It was a very positive week, winning the singles title and finishing as doubles runner-up, especially playing at home. I would like to thank my entire team at Juninho Tennis and my sponsors Avant, Solinco, and Ossel, without whom none of this would be possible,” said Noale.
