Collignon Captures All In Open Title In Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Region

Raphael Collignon of Belgium has captured the title of the All In Open Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Lyon. The No. 6 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 tournament defeated home favourite Calvin Hemery 6-4, 6-2 in Saturday’s singles final.

Collignon advanced to the championship match with wins over Tristan Droguet of France, Henri Squire from Germany, top-seeded Croatian Borna Coric and Frenchman Gregoire Barrrere.

Collignon didn’t face a break point in the final and broke Hemery’s serve three times to secure victory in one hour and 12 minutes.

By lifting his second ATP Challenger Tour career trophy following his triumph at the Platzmann Open in Lüdenscheid, Germany, earlier in the season, the World No. 142 pocketed € 10,200 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points. Collignon collected his sixth title of the year, as he was also successful on the ITF World Tennis Tour, winning M25 tournaments in Hammamet (Tunisia), Angers (France), Kassel (Germany) and Koksijde (Belgium).

The inaugural All In Open Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Lyon offered a total prize pool of €74,825 and were held at the All In Country Club Decines in Decines-Charpieu, a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region in Eastern France.
