The BRAWO Open, which has been part of the ATP Challenger Tour since 1994, will retain its ATP Challenger 125 category in 2025. The clay-court event in Braunschweig is scheduled for July 3 to 12 and will see a slight increase in prize money, offering a total of €152,350.

“We are not only the oldest and largest ATP Challenger tournament in Germany but also the one with the highest prize pool,” tournament director Volker Jäcke said.

He further emphasized its significance as the third-largest clay-court tournament in Germany and the ninth-oldest ATP Challenger globally. The event continues to be a key part of the ATP Challenger Tour, providing a platform where rising stars, such as Germany’s Justin Engel in 2024, meet international players, promising thrilling matches on a world-class level.

The tournament has earned significant accolades over the years, being named the best of 195 ATP Challenger events six times (2005, 2014–2017, and 2019)—a record unmatched by any other event in this category.

The side-events taking place at the 31st edition of the BRAWO Open were also announced. For more information and tickets, please visit the tournament’s official website.
