Tennis legend Rafael Nadal continued his time in Jeddah on Saturday with an inspirational meeting with the Saudi Arabia Davis Cup team and a coaching clinic with aspiring youngsters.

After imparting his wisdom of Davis Cup success on the Saudi national team, Nadal then headed to The Racquet Space tennis club and the familiar surroundings of clay courts, where he led a coaching clinic with children.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion concluded the day with a visit to King Abdullah Sports City and the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF, attending the first semi-final between Alex Michelsen and Learner Tien.

Nadal continues his three-day trip on Sunday, visiting players across the city from Saudi Arabia’s blossoming tennis community before witnessing the final match of the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF between American fifth seed Learner Tien and Brazilian eighth seed Joao Fonesca.

Nadal, one of tennis’ all-time greats, is spending three days in the Red Sea coastal city in his role as Saudi Tennis Federation (STF) Ambassador as the STF aims to inspire one million into tennis by 2030.
