The Brazilian duo of Gustavo Heide and Joao Lucas Reis da Silva claimed the doubles title at the Punta del Este Open with a commanding 6-2, 6-3 victory over Argentina’s Facundo Mena and Marco Trungelliti. The final on Saturday lasted just over an hour and eight minutes.

For Reis da Silva, it marked his second ATP Challenger Tour career title, following a previous triumph at the Santiago de Chile tournament alongside Pedro Boscardin. Heide secured his fourth ATP Challenger Tour doubles career title.
Reise da Silva and Heide split $4,980 in prize money and collected 75 ATP Doubles Ranking points.

The Brazilian pair’s journey to the championship included the following wins:
- Round 1: Joaquín and Federico Aguilar Cardozo, 6-7(8), 6-1, 10-7
- Quarterfinals: Guido Andreozzi and Mariano Kestelboim, 6-4, 7-6(3)
- Semifinals: Daniel Elahi Galán and Carlos Taberner, 6-3, 5-7, 10-8
- Final: Facundo Mena and Marco Trungelliti, 6-2, 6-3
