CAMPINAS, March 3, 2025
The city of Campinas will host the most traditional tournament on the Brazilian tennis calendar, the Campeonato Internacional de Tenis Campinas. The Sociedade Hipica will be the venue for the ATP Challenger Tour 75, taking place from March 30 to April 6. The tournament will distribute $100,000 in prize money among participants and 75 ATP ranking points to the winner.
The champion will join a prestigious list of past winners, which includes notable players such as Guido Pella (ARG), who reached No. 20 in the world; Cristian Garin (CHI), ranked as high as No. 17; Sebastián Báez (ARG), who reached No. 18; Francisco Cerundolo (ARG), a former No. 19; and Diego Schwartzman (ARG), who climbed as high as No. 8 in the ATP rankings. Brazilian Thiago Monteiro won the 2023 edition.
Argentinian players have dominated the event, winning seven titles in 14 editions of the tournament.
The competition attracts players from various countries, and the list of confirmed participants will be released soon. Admission is free, requiring an online ticket reservation.
This 15th edition of the ATP Challenger Campinas is supported through the Federal Sports Incentive Law by Brazil’s Ministry of Sports. It is co-sponsored by Kia – Official Car, Vivara, Philco, Stella Artois Pure Gold, Alupar, Taesa, Costa do Sauípe – Parks & Resorts, Azul Airlines – Official Carrier, INNI Sports – Official Ball & Apparel, Faixa Azul, Aberje, Eletromidia, and the São Paulo Tennis Federation.
The event, held at the Sociedade Hípica de Campinas, is part of the ATP Challenger Tour and is organized by the Instituto Sports.
