The ATP Challenger Tour is back in Phoenix for the fifth edition of the Arizona Tennis Classic. As one of the highest-level Challengers on the circuit, it attracts a strong field, featuring four top 50 players this week, looking to fine-tune their game ahead of major ATP events.

Played on hard courts at the Phoenix Country Club, the tournament offers a competitive atmosphere with a mix of rising stars and experienced professionals. With its prime timing ahead of the Miami Open, the event has seen notable participants, including Matteo Berrettini, Gael Monfils, and Jack Draper.

This year’s Arizona Tennis Classic field is led by World No. 36 Nuno Borges. The two-time defending champion from Portugal will start his hunt for a three-peat after a first-round bye against Jacob Fearnley of Great Britain. World No. 40 and second-seeded Italian Flavio Cobolli will take on US-American wild card entry Eliot Spizzirri.

Pedro Martinez is the No. 3 seed. The 41st-ranked Spaniard will compete against Frenchman Corentin Moutet in the second round. Jan-Lennard Struff rounds out the top-ranked players of the $250,000 ATP Challenger Tour tournament. The 46th-ranked German opposes Brazilian rising star Joao Fonseca in his first match in the vibrant capital of the Grand Canyon State.
