Mili Poljicak leads the semi-finals line-up of the Istarska Rivijera ITF World Tennis Tour M15 tournament in Porec. The No. 2 seed from Croatia defeated eighth-seeded Bosnian Mirza Basic 7-6(1), 7-6(1) in Friday’s quarterfinals.

Poljicak sent down four aces and landed 60 per cent of his first-service points to advance in two hours and four minutes. Next up for the World No. 293 will be No. 5 seed Nerman Fatic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who eased past Slovenian qualifier Jan Kupcic 6-1, 6-1.

In the top half of the draw, No. 3 seed Sandro Kopp of Austria beat seventh favourite Dominik Kellovsky from the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-4. Kopp will play Andrej Nedic from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the stage of the final four. Nedic edged out Samuele Pieri of Italy 6-4, 6-1.
