The 2026 edition of the Atkinsons Monza Open promises top-level competition, as organizers revealed an outstanding entry list for the ATP Challenger 125 tournament, set to take place from April 5 to 12 on the clay courts of the Villa Reale Tennis in Monza.

A total of seven players ranked inside the Top 100 are confirmed, with a cut-off at world No. 128. Leading the field is France’s Valentin Royer (No. 69), followed by Belgium’s Raphael Collignon (No. 72), who returns as defending champion after a standout performance in the inaugural edition.

Among the names is Italy’s Mattia Bellucci (No. 77), joined by compatriots Francesco Maestrelli and Andrea Pellegrino, both currently enjoying career-high rankings. Other Top 100 players set to compete include Austria’s Sebastian Ofner, France’s Alexandre Muller, the Netherlands’ Jesper de Jong, and Dalibor Svrcina of the Czech Republic.

Also returning is Frenchman Luca Van Assche, a semifinalist last year who has already claimed two ATP Challenger 125 titles in 2026, in Quimper and Lille. Spain’s rising talent Martin Landaluce enters the main draw via the ATP’s Next Gen Accelerator program.

The entry list also features Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic, a former Monte Carlo Masters finalist, as well as a deep field of experienced and emerging players. Notably, even 2025 finalist Vitaliy Sachko may need to go through qualifying, highlighting the overall strength of the draw.

Tournament director Giorgio Tarantola expressed his satisfaction: “The upgrade to Challenger 125 has clearly paid off, as shown by the exceptionally strong entry list. It’s rare to start with such a high level. With a cut-off at No. 128—equivalent to Grand Slam entry standards—it means many players accustomed to competing at the highest level will be here in Monza.”

Fans can enjoy free entry to the tournament from April 5 to 10, including the opening rounds and qualifying matches, while tickets are required for the final weekend. The tournament offers a total prize pool of €203,900.
