In the final event of the clay-court swing, teenager Mirra Andreeva captured her first career Grand Slam title and, as a result, climbs to the top of the PIF Race to the WTA Finals Leaderboard following her success at Roland Garros.
Aryna Sabalenka maintained her position at No.2 on the Leaderboard after adding 430 points by reaching the quarterfinals at Roland Garros.
Andreeva (Adelaide, Linz, Roland Garros) and Sabalenka (Indian Wells, Miami, Brisbane) have won a Tour-leading three titles each at the midpoint of the 2026 season.
Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina checks in at No.3 on this week’s Leaderboard, followed by No.4 Elina Svitolina, No.5 Jessica Pegula and No.6 Coco Gauff.
At the start of the clay-court swing, Marta Kostyuk found herself positioned at No.39 on the Leaderboard. With clay-court titles at WTA 1000 Madrid and WTA 250 Rouen, the 23-year-old Ukrainian reached the semifinal stage at Roland Garros and as a result climbs to No.7 on this week’s Leaderboard.
As a qualifier advancing to her first Grand Slam final, Poland’s Maja Chwalinska collected 1340 race points at the second Slam of the year and now sits at No.14 on the Leaderboard.
The doubles duo of Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend secured the top position by winning their fourth title of the season at Roland Garros, adding to their 2026 trophy case that also includes titles at three WTA 1000 events – Indian Wells, Miami and Madrid.
