Alcala Gurri Captures Royan Atlantique Open Title

STARNBERG, June 23, 2026

Max Alcala Gurri clinched the title of the Royan Atlantique Open. The No. 5 seed of the ATP Challenger 50 tournament in France defeated French qualifier Cosme Rolland de Ravel 7-6(4), 6-1 in Saturday’s singles final.

Alcala Gurri converted four of his six break-point chances and won 61 per cent of the total points played to seal victory in one hour and 27 minutes.

By winning his second ATP Challenger Tour career title following his maiden triumph Cervia, Italy earlier this season, the 23-year-old Spaniard pocketed € 8,550 in prize money as well as 50 ATP Ranking points.

The second edition of the Royan Atlantique Ocean offered a total prize pool of €56,700 and was hosted by the Garden Tennis Royan.
