Mia Ristic was crowned the new champion of the 11th Serena Wines 1881–Acqua Maniva Tennis Cup Internazionali del Friuli Venezia Giulia World Tennis Tour W75 event in Cordenons, Italy after defeating defending champion Nuria Brancaccio 6-3, 6-3 in Saturday’s final.
The fourth-seeded Serb produced another commanding performance on the clay courts of the Eurosporting Club, completing a flawless week without dropping a single set on her way to the title.
In front of a packed Center Court, the final featured several spectacular rallies, but it was Ristic who proved the more consistent and aggressive player. The 20-year-old from Bor showcased the level that has made her one of the most promising young players on the World Tennis Tour and secured the third professional singles title of her career.
Brancaccio, the tournament’s top seed and defending champion, made the brighter start by breaking serve in the third game of the opening set. However, Ristic responded immediately with a break of her own before taking control of the match. The decisive moment came in the ninth game, when the Serbian struck a series of powerful, precise groundstrokes to earn another break. Despite facing two break points while serving for the set, she held her nerve to move ahead 6-3.
Ristic raised her level even further in the second set, racing to a 3-0 lead with two service breaks. Although Brancaccio mounted a brief comeback, reducing the deficit after trailing 1-5, the Serbian remained composed and sealed victory on her first match point to complete another 6-3 set.

The title represents the biggest triumph of Ristic’s career to date and will see her climb to a new career-high of World No. 233 in the WTA Rankings on Monday.
For Brancaccio, the defeat ends her bid for back-to-back titles in Cordenons, but the Italian can still reflect on another impressive week after also reaching the semifinals of the WTA 125 event in Rome just seven days earlier. The 26-year-old has now reached the final in Cordenons for the second consecutive season, further underlining her consistency on Italian clay.
