World Tennis Media Release, October 2, 2026

Professional tennis players on the World Tennis Tour can analyse and improve their games using cutting-edge technology thanks to the new World Tennis Performance platform which launched this week.

Developed in partnership with UK sports analytics company TennisViz, the platform provides match data, performance insights and detailed video analysis from World Tennis Tour tournaments, allowing players to review matches and gain a deeper understanding of their on-court performance.

World Tennis Performance is currently available to the 11,000 active players on the World Tennis Tour. Players can also add their coach and other support team members to the platform.

Players can create playlists of points through specific filters, add comments and share clips with members of their support team. They are also able to analyse their opponent’s serve and return game, as well as performance on critical points of a match.

While in recent times a similar service has been available to players competing on the ATP Tour, ATP Challenger Tour and at certain Grand Slam tournaments, World Tennis Performance significantly expands the availability of match analytics, therefore creating a stronger, better-connected player experience.

Ross Hutchins, World Tennis CEO, said: “We are proud to make high-quality analytics accessible for thousands more players from across the world at different stages on the World Tennis player pathway. Sophisticated analysis allows players and their support teams to learn more, whilst continually developing their tennis ability. We are very excited to roll this out and continue to prioritise players and analytics moving forward.”

Oana Simion, World Tennis Tour Player Panel member, said: “World Tennis Performance is an important and very useful step to improve my game through tactics and to follow an exact plan for the upcoming matches. I can create video playlists, add comments to specific points, and sharing them with my support team will make a big difference in my game. This is a significant step in the development of professional tennis athletes through technology.”

Alec Beckley, World Tennis Tour Player Panel member, said: “For a long time, it was difficult for my coach and me to pinpoint what really needed improvement, or to measure my game against more complete and successful players. Now we can use the stats in World Tennis Performance to get a clear picture of my game, including the percentages and consistency I bring to the court and where the work still needs to be done. Metrics like serve dominance, clutch score and points won at 30-30 have been especially valuable and replay videos let us see whether I was being too passive or impatient in those key moments. This has changed how we approach coaching and training, helping us find the loose screws and tighten them.”
