The Nexo Dallas Open today announced that three of the top 13 players in the world – Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe – will headline the field for the 2027 tournament, bringing three of the most prominent American stars in professional tennis back to North Texas for the ATP 500 event.

Following a record-setting 2026 tournament, the Nexo Dallas Open returns to Ford Center at The Star in Frisco Feb. 6-14, 2027, with single-session tickets now on sale. The tournament continues to build on its momentum as an ATP 500 event and one of the premier indoor tennis tournaments in the United States. Fans can secure seats throughout tournament week, including the All-American Classic presented by Baker Tilly, early-round action and championship weekend at dallasopen.com.

The 2026 Nexo Dallas Open saw attendance increase 10% year over year and ticket sales grow 18% compared to 2025. The 2026 championship match, featuring Shelton and Fritz, drew a sellout crowd of more than 6,000 fans, while the tournament also recorded its highest Kids Weekend attendance in event history.

World No. 4 and recent US Open finalist Shelton returns to Dallas as the reigning Nexo Dallas Open champion after defeating top-seeded Fritz in the 2026 championship match. The victory marked another milestone for Shelton, who will return to North Texas looking to defend his title.

“Dallas has become a really special stop for me,” said Ben Shelton. “I’m excited to come back, see the fans and get another opportunity to compete at the Nexo Dallas Open and hopefully put on another great week of tennis.”

Fritz currently ranks No. 13 and returns to the Nexo Dallas Open after advancing to the 2026 championship match. The American has established himself as one of the leading players on the ATP Tour and has become a familiar face in Dallas, where he will once again compete for the title.

Tiafoe will also return to North Texas, adding another accomplished American star and fan favorite to the 2027 field. Ranked No. 9, Tiafoe is known for his dynamic style of play and made another semifinal appearance at this year’s US Open, further establishing himself as one of the most recognizable players on the ATP Tour.

“After the success we experienced in 2026, bringing Ben, Taylor and Frances back to Dallas is a tremendous way to begin building the 2027 field,” said Peter Lebedevs, tournament director of the Nexo Dallas Open. “Ben and Taylor gave our fans an incredible championship match last year, and having both return, along with Frances, gives us another opportunity to showcase some of the best tennis in the world. We saw tremendous growth across the tournament in 2026, and we’re excited to continue that momentum.”

The 2026 Nexo Dallas Open welcomed 12 of the top American players and athletes representing 11 different countries, while expanding its global footprint through broadcast distribution in more than 180 countries. The tournament also introduced its first-ever title partnership with Nexo, expanded premium hospitality offerings and enhanced the fan experience with an upgraded Fan Zone, daily live music, fan activations and its most successful Kids Weekend to date.

The 2027 Nexo Dallas Open will kick off tournament week with the All-American Classic presented by Baker Tilly exhibition on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. CT, bringing together American players for a special exhibition on center court. Currently featuring Ben Shelton and Alex Michelsen, with additional players to be announced, the event will give fans an opportunity to see some of the country’s top talent together on the court.
