A month ago one of the best tennis players of all times visited Umag as guest of the 27th Konzum Croatia Open Umag, and the news of that visit continue to reverberate.

This week’s edition of the show Open Court, aired by the most prominent US-American TV station CNN, featured an interview with Andre Agassi filmed this summer in Umag. It was a rare opportunity for the American to look back on his career and reveal how he had been doing off court for a decade now. Agassi, who had stepped away from public life following the end of his professional career, told CNN in Umag why he had married Steffi Graf, whet made him start building schools across the United States and why ending his tennis career felt like “preparing for death”, among other things.
