After a promising start in the grass court era in 2015 and the following year 2016, the MercedesCup 2017 will be held from June 10 to 18, being part of the ATP grass court swing leading into Wimbledon. World´s best tennis players will fight for 250 world ranking points, a brand new Mercedes-Benz and the MercedesCup crown on grass.

Former world No. 1 Roger Federer will return to Stuttgart in order to try to capture the trophy next year. The Swiss Maestro is currently preparing his comeback to the tour after he had been sidelined from competition for six months. Federer will be back in action at the Austrialian Open in Melbourne in January and has a special Christmas Message for his fans.
