Aljaz Bedene improves to 12-2 in ATP Challenger finals, lifting his second trophy at the $150,000 BMW Of Dallas Irving Tennis Classic on Sunday. The 27-year-old from Great Britain fought past Mikhail Kukushkin 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
Bedene, who won the event at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas in 2015, sent down eight aces, winning 76 per cent of his first service points and broke serve four times to seal victory in one hour and 49 minutes.

Bedene moves 11 spots up the ranking to World No. 94, taking away $21,600 in prize money as well as 125 ATP ranking points.
Earlier the day, Marcus Daniell from New Zealand and Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner upset top seeds Oliver Marach of Austria and Frenchman Fabrice Martin, winning 6-3, 6-4 to clinch the doubles title. The encounter lasted one hour and 11 minutes.
