MADRID, May 2, 2017
The draw for this Thursday’s Tie Break Tens event in Madrid has been made and thrown up a number of mouth-watering clashes.
In the men’s draw, Tomas Berdych, Jack Sock and Dan Evans were late additions to the line-up, with Kei Nishikori and David Ferrer needing to withdraw. In the women’s draw, two-time French Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova completed the women’s player field.
The tournament will feature a knock-out format of quarterfinals, semifinals and final, with each match taking the form of a first-to-ten point tie-break.
Each event will award a winner-take-all prize of $200,000, with an additional $100,000 going to the Mutua charity against domestic violence.
The tournament, which will be held in the Caja Mágica, will start at 7.30pm CET and be Broadcast live on Teledeporte TVE in Spain, and from 6.30pm on Dave in the UK.

Mutua Charity Tie Break Tens Madrid, against domestic violence:
Play begins: 19:30 (doors open at 18:30)
Players: two draws of 8 players
Men’s Tournament players: Stan Wawrinka, Feliciano López, Grigor Dimitrov, Lucas Pouille, Dan Evans, Tomas Berdych and Fernando Verdasco.
Women’s Tournament players: Garbiñe Muguruza, Maria Sharapova, Simona Halep, Jo Konta, Agnieszka Radwanska, Madison Keys, Mónica Puig and Svetlana Kuznetsova.
Format: Quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
Prize Money: $200,000 for the champions and an additional $100,000 to be donated to charity organizations working against domestic violence.
TV: The tournament will be broadcast live on Spanish television via Teleporte and on UK television via the entertainment channel Dave.
