Andrej Martin is the champion of the €43,000 Advantage Cars Prague Open 2017 by Zenova. The fourth seed from Slovakia defeated German Yannick Maden, who appeared in his first title match of the seson, in Sunday’s final 7-6, 6-3.

Martin won 70 per cent of his first service points and broke serve five times to seal victory in one hour and 42 minutes.

“It was not easy but the investment in my mental training paid off,” Martin told after his triumph.

The 27-year-old from Bratislava also prevailed this March in San Luis Potosi. It was his eighth Challenger career title. Martin takes away €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP ranking points.

Martin celebrated with his own fan club after the match:

On Saturday, Jan Satral from the Czech Republic and Austrian Tristan-Samuel Weissborn took the doubles title with a 6-3, 5-7, 10-3 win over the all-German-combination of Gero Kretschmer and Andreas Mies. The final lasted one hour and 26 minutes.
