Four German players headline the official entry list of the inaugural WOLFFKRAN Open. The €43,000 ATP Challenger event will be held from 14 to 22 October at the Tennis Club Ismaning.
World No. 119 Dustin Brown leads the field, joined by his fellow Germans Maximilian Marterer, Oscar Otte and Yannick Hanfmann. Igor Sijsling from the Netherlands used his protected ranking position of World No. 127 to enter the tournament. The 30-year-old missed the enire second half of last year’s season due to injury and returned to the courts in February this year.
With Aussie Alex de Minaur, German youngster Daniel Altmaier, Spanish young gun Nicola Kuhn, French teenager Corentin Moutet, Pedro Martínez Portero of Spain and Tallno Griekspoor from Netherlands a couple of the #NextGenATP players will also be part of the Ismaning line-up.
The WOLFFKRAN Open will be the only ATP Challenger event held on European soil during this week. The tournament will be played indoors on carpet, which makes it pretty special on the tour.
