HUA HIN, November 26, 2017
John Millman is back in the winners’ circle, lifting the trophy at the $150,000 E@ Hua Hin Open Challenger in Thailand. The eighth seed defeated fellow Australian Andrew Whittington 6-2, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.
Millman, who didn’t play a match until May this season due to injury, won 74 per cent of his first service points and converted five of his nine break point chances to prevail after one hour and 23 minutes. The Brisbane native clinched his ninth ATP Challenger career crown, his first since Kobe two years ago.
