NUSSLOCH, January 20, 2018

World No. 266 Pedro Cachín leads the entry list of the $25,000 Internationale Herrentennismeisterschaften der Metropolregion Rhein-Necker um den MLP Cup 2018 held on carpet at the Racket Center Nußloch from 22 to 28 January 2018.

The 22-year-old Argentine captured three ITF Pro Circuit singles titles last year and celebrated his biggest triumph by lifting the ATP Challenger trophy in Sevilla in 2015. Cachín will be joined by Marek Jaloviec from the Czech Republic and Christopher Heyman of Belgium.

Germany’s reigning National Tennis Champion, Daniel Masur, is part of a strong contingent of local players competing in Nußloch. Masur opened the new season by clinching the singles as well as the doubles title at the ITF Futures in Schwieberdingen last week. The 23-year-old finished runner-up to Mats Moraing at the MLP Cup last year.

Jan Choinski, Robin Kern and Julian Lenz will also be part of the line-up of. The ITF Pro Circuit event was honored best tournament of the German Masters Series 2017.
