Kalinina converted six of her 15 break point chances to prevail after two hours and 38 minutes.

The 20-year-old, who is ranked World No. 154, won her second consecutive USTA Pro Circuit singles title of the year after winning the $25,000 event in Daytona Beach a week ago. She now holds eight USTA Pro Circuit/ITF Pro Circuit singles titles.

Saturday’s doubles champions were Ching-Wen Hsu of Chinese Taipei and Hanyu Guo from China, who defeated Ulrikke Eikeri of Norway and Ilona Kremen of Belarus, 6-3, 3-6, [12-10]. Hsu and Guo had never played doubles together prior to this tournament.

Prior to the singles final, a free Net Generation Team Challenge with local youth was held.

“We had an extremely successful week at the USTA National Campus hosting this USTA Pro Circuit event,” said tournament director Milagros Sequera Huss. “There was such a high-level of tennis all week and the fans were treated to entertaining matches. We also had well-attended community events where we gained new fans and celebrated tennis, while the collaboration amongst various USTA departments made this event go off without a hitch. We thank everyone for coming out to the USTA National Campus for a memorable week.”

This is the first pro tennis event to be held at the USTA National Campus this year and one of two events scheduled at the campus in 2018, as another USTA Pro Circuit women’s event will take place in March.
