PALM COAST, February 5, 2018

Tim van Rijthoven clinched the title of the $15,000 Palm Coast Futures Tournament held on clay at the Palm Coast Tennis Center. The 20-year-old from the Netherlands upset top seed Maxime Chazal of France in Sunday’s singles final 6-4, 6-4.

Van Rijthoven, who missed almost the entire 2017 season due to injury, lifted his third ITF Pro Circuit career title, his first since 2015. He earns $2,160 in prize money as well as 18 ATP ranking points. Van Rijthoven is currently ranked World No. 1314.

This was the City of Palm Coast’s ninth year hosting the tournament.
