Stefano Travaglia of Italy is the first champion of the €43,000 Casino Admiral Trophy held on clay at the Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa in Marbella. The No. 7 seed defeated Argentine Guido Andreozzi 6-3, 6-3 in Saturday’s singles final.
Travaglia sent down five aces, saved the only break point he faced, converting three of his own to secure victory in one hour and 18 minutes.

The 26-year-old from Ascoli Piceno appeared in his second ATP Challenger final, having won his maiden crown in Ostrava last year. He takes away €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP ranking points.

Later in the day, Andreozzi was back in action teaming up Ariel Behar of Uruguay to capture the doubles trophy. The tandem beat Martin Klizan and Jozef Kovalik from Slovakia 6-3, 6-4. The encounter lasted one hour and seven minutes.
Travaglia and Andreozzi will both stay in Spain for another week on the ATP Challenger Tour. The pair will square off in the opening round of the Ferrero Challenger Open in Alicante.
