The Stadtwerke Meerbusch will be the new title sponsor of the ATP Challenger in Meerbusch. This was announced by the organizers of the €43,000 clay-court event on Monday.

“The Stadtwerke Meerbusch have been involved right from the beginning and are now the title sponsor of the biggest tennis event in the region,” said organizer Marc Raffel.
“We have strengthened our commitment and look forward to world-class tennis in Meerbusch,” stm Managing Director Albert Lopez commented.
The city of Meerbusch has been hosting the ATP tennis tournament for the last six years. For four years, the matches were held in the Sportpark Büderich. The GWR Büderich has hosted the event since last year. This year’s tournament will be held from 11 to 19 August 2018.
The Tennis Open Stadtwerke Meerbusch will also feature a couple of side events including live music acts and an art exhibition. For tickets and further information, please visit the tournament’s official website.
