The ITF has announced the seeds for the Draw for the 2019 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas, which will take place at the ITF offices in London on Tuesday 24 July at 10:00 local time (09:00 GMT).

The ceremony, which will include the draws for the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group and World Group II events, will be streamed live on www.fedcup.com.

Fed Cup World Group

According to the Fed Cup Regulations, the two finalist nations are seeded No. 1 and No. 2 in the World Group for the following year, and will be drawn in opposite halves. Seeds 3 and 4 are in accordance with the latest ITF Fed Cup Nations Ranking of 23 April. The two finalist nations will both be guaranteed choice of ground.

The seeded nations will be drawn against the remaining World Group nations: Australia, Belgium, Germany and Romania.

Seeds for Fed Cup World Group II are also based on the latest Fed Cup Nations Ranking.

The seeded nations will be drawn against the remaining World Group II nations: Canada, Italy, Latvia and Spain.
